Sports
Sports has always played an important part of the school life in LCC. Physical activity is recognised for the value it brings to a student’s physical and mental well-being. Physical Education is an important component for all years and LCC was delighted to introduce Physical Education as a Leaving Certificate Subject as part of the National Rollout.
Since our days in Mill Road, LCC students have participated in events and competitions for Gaelic Football, Soccer and Athletics.
Since the school has moved to our new campus, this has expanded and now also includes: Basketball, Rugby and Orienteering. The Campus has two outdoor basketball courts, two 5 a side soccer pitches, A large fully equipped Sports Hall and a fantastic Fitness Suite.
Many of our students have represented Dublin and Ireland in their respective Sports. Click Here for details.
