Green Schools
LCC has a very active Green School committee with student engagement across all year groups. It is a student led initiative which to date has been awarded three Green Flags for Litter, Water, and Energy conservation. The Green Schools raise awareness of environmental issues and also implement actions and plans that can have tangible beneficial results.
This year we are in the process of applying for our fourth flag in the area of Air quality. Despite the difficulties posed by Covid19 we are doing our best to achieve our targets. We hope to organize a Cycle to School Week shortly. Watch this space!
