Requests for Review of Refused Admissions
- REVIEW/ Stage 1 of Appeal re Admissions 2021/22
If you have been disappointed by not receiving an offer of enrolment, we can assure you that the Board followed admissions procedures with due diligence as set out in LCC’s Admissions Policy.
If however you have noted an error that may have occurred you have the right to seek a review from the Board of Management.
This is the first step in the new appeals process.
The office will issue you;
1. a review form
2. LCC’s Published Notice of Admissions
3. LCC’s Admissions Policy 2021/22
You then return the review form by post or email to LCC for the attention of the Board of Management.
The Board will then meet and carefully review the application and your reason for seeking the review. This is not an oral hearing, all that is written on the review form is what is taken into consideration. This information is reviewed within the admissions documents and procedures therein.

The completed form must be submitted to the board of management within 21 calendar days from the date of the decision to refuse admission to the school.
