School announcement: TESS Attendance Poster Competition 2024

The TESS and Department of Education are running a national Attendance Campaign. As part of this campaign there is a national poster competition which we are hoping LCC students will take part in. Each school can submit two poster designs, one junior entry and one senior entry. However we are going to use many of the best posters created to make LCC and CNaT postcards, book marks and wallet cards! There will be prizes for those posters selected.

Please see guidelines attached and please note that students are also asked to come up with a slogan for the campaign in their poster design and students may use any media suitable for creating a 2D poster design such as pencil, ink, watercolour, gouache, acrylics, mixed media, lino print etc. Digitally created poster designs are also permitted.

The National School Attendance Poster Competition is aimed at getting behind schools, pupils, parents/guardians and communities to raise awareness about the importance of regular school attendance. It would be great if this poster campaign could generate some chats in our classes about why regular attendance is so important.
