The Minister for Education, Helen McEntee TD, has published a revised guidance document on the Post-primary Schoolbooks Scheme. From September 2025 the scheme will include all students in post-primary schools in the Free Education Scheme in Ireland.
Minister McEntee has kindly requested that all schools issue the attached letter to all parents of all post-primary students on her behalf before the end of this week.
The Department has also published an information leaflet for parents on how the new scheme will operate. Please share the parents leaflet with parents/ guardians, including the parents and guardians of incoming first year students.
