Great news! LCC have now qualified for The Young Scientist Final 2026! A fantastic group of students competed at the semi-final round and did some really excellent work (as you can see below) in an attempt to secure a place at the final in the RDS in January.
This year, 550 projects from around Ireland have been shortlisted to compete from over 1900 entries, making qualification more competitive than ever! LCC & CnaT had 18 students who competed consisting of 9 groups. Two groups are through to the final and one group is on a short reserve/ standby list and will continue to work on their project. (On a slightly comedic-heartwarming note Rami simply cannot contain his pure joy and excitement! Especially congratulate him!) Please take a look at the 18 students who competed and congratulate them on their great achievements! Superb! (From myself, Rupinder & Dylan). Your support is greatly appreciated.
