Dear LCC Parents, Guardians, and Students,
As our 3rd and 6th Year students begin their Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate State Examinations tomorrow, Wednesday 4th June, we would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of them all the very best. This is a significant milestone, and we are proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our students throughout the year.
💻 Instructional Video:
The State Examinations Commission has provided a short video for candidates outlining key exam procedures. We encourage all students to view it before exams begin.
Please also take note of the following important reminders to help ensure a smooth and successful exam period:

🕒 Arrival Times:
  • On the first day of exams (Wednesday 4th June), students must be on site at least 30 minutes before the exam start time.
  • (i.e Exam commences at 9.30am on 04/06 - All students to be present at 9.00am)
  • For all subsequent exams, students must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

🎒 What to Bring:
  • Students must wear full school uniform for all exams.
  • Smart devices (phones, smartwatches, etc.) are not permitted in the exam centres.
  • Please ensure students bring all necessary materials: pens, pencils, rulers, calculators, and any subject-specific items.
🏫 Supervision and Facilities:
  • Exams will take place throughout the day with varying durations.
  • Students are required to leave the school grounds once they have completed their exam(s) and return in good time if they have an afternoon session.
  • Please note that the school canteen will not be open during the exam period, and there is no student supervision available outside of scheduled exam times.
💚 Student Wellbeing:
We understand that this can be a stressful time. Please encourage students to take care of themselves—get plenty of rest, eat well, and take breaks when needed.
