The aim of this webinar is to provide information for parents/guardians to help support their teenager as they navigate their life in an online world. On a day to day basis young people are accessing information on the internet, creating and updating their social media profiles, sharing personal information, pictures and videos, gaming and participating in online groups who have shared interests. There are benefits to having so much support and information available from groups, resources and websites online. As parents, the concerns that young people share too much personal content, experience cyberbulling and access harmful content are valid. This webinar will help parents/guardians understand the risks posed to teenagers when online, listen to what teenagers want and need from their parents to help them manage these experiences and some tips to keep communication online and offline working well for everyone.
